SANTA CLARA -- The Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office has created a hotline for customers of Sunlight Travel, which inexplicably closed its doors on June 5 leaving dozens of customers of Vietnamese descent wondering if they'll ever see the thousands of dollars they paid the agency to fly to Vietnam and other overseas destinations.
The district attorney's "Sunlight Travel Fraud Hotline" provides information in English and Vietnamese to "folks who wish to report they were a victim of Sunlight Travel," said Christine Garcia-Sen, supervising deputy district attorney. "Anyone wishing to file a criminal complaint because they suffered a loss as a result of being a customer of Sunlight Travel should call 408-792-2675."
